About Twenty 8 Acres
What we do to make your visit so enjoyable.
Twenty 8 Acres Cafe was opened in 2013 with a vision to create a cosy but vibrant cafe, known for their fresh, seasonal produce and deliciously aromatic coffee.
Twenty 8 Acres is tucked away in the gorgeous, sunny back streets of Darlington. The cafe is named after the beautiful 28 acre Darling Nursery on which it is situated, originally named after Ralph Darling who was the governor of New South Wales in 1835.
At Twenty 8 Acres, high quality fresh food and delicious coffee at affordable prices is our aim. That’s why virtually every item on our menu is made fresh each morning in our kitchen. We pickle our own cucumbers, bake our own cakes and cure our own salmon!
Everything that we don’t make in-house has been sourced locally or from boutique producers, after extensive research and a few cheeky tastings. Our bread is delivered fresh daily from Bowan Island Bakery in Drummoyne, while our artisan goat’s curd comes direct from the Meredith Dairy in Victoria.
Life’s a treat… spoil yourself by visiting our gorgeous cafe today and enjoying the taste of our full Irish breakfast or signature house cured salmon.
